Salary: £13.50 per hour
Hours: 8am–4:30pm Monday to Friday
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Wood Assembler to join a busy manufacturing business based in Brierley Hill.
The Role
- As a Wood Assembler, your duties will include:
- Assembling wooden products and components
- Working from drawings and measurements
- Using hand tools and power tools
- Cutting, drilling and preparing materials
- Checking finished products for quality
- Following production specifications
- Working as part of a busy manufacturing team
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous experience in wood assembly, carpentry, joinery or a similar role
- Good practical and manual skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to work from measurements and drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous manufacturing or workshop experience
