Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Housebuilding
Location: Maidstone, Kent, with projects across the South East
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per annum, plus car allowance, bonus, pension and benefits

PW Construction Recruitment is recruiting an Assistant Quantity Surveyor for an established housebuilder based in Maidstone. This is an opportunity to develop your commercial career while working on new homes developments across the South East.
You will join an experienced commercial team, supporting the financial management of residential projects and helping to ensure developments are delivered on time and within budget.
The Role
You will assist with budgets, cost reporting, subcontractor procurement, valuations and payments. Working closely with site, technical and commercial colleagues, you will monitor costs, keep project information accurate and help identify commercial risks or changes to budget.
About You
You will have some experience in housebuilding and be looking to build your career in quantity surveying. You should be comfortable working with figures, organised, detail-focused and confident using Excel.
Experience with COINS would be an advantage. A relevant qualification, or progress towards one, would also be welcome.
The Package
The salary is approximately £35,000–£45,000, depending on experience, plus a car allowance, bonus, pension and additional benefits.
