A leading international MEP engineering and construction contractor is looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join a major project in London.
This is a site-based role working across a large, technically complex project, coordinating closely with engineers, consultants, contractors, architects and structural teams to ensure BIM deliverables are accurate, coordinated and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM coordination activities across the project.
- Coordinate with engineers, design teams, consultants, architects and contractors.
- Manage and coordinate Revit models across multiple disciplines.
- Lead multidisciplinary BIM coordination meetings and workshops.
- Drive clash detection and resolution using Revit and Navisworks.
- Ensure BIM deliverables are completed accurately and on programme.
- Chase and challenge internal and external teams for outstanding information.
- Lead the re-coordination of areas where design or installation conflicts are identified.
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, CSA and structural teams.
- Manage coordination with specialist subcontractors and third-party contractors.
- Implement and maintain the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Maintain BIM Implementation Plans and project information requirements.
- Lead a BIM team and report on progress, deliverables and performance.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, Senior BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager within an MEP environment.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination and construction delivery.
- Good knowledge of RIBA Stages 5 and 6.
- Strong Revit and Navisworks experience.
- Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical building services.
- Experience leading BIM coordination meetings and workshops.
- Confident working with contractors, consultants, architects and structural teams.
- Strong understanding of clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Experience with BIM Execution Plans and project information requirements.
- Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
- Ability to challenge project teams and drive deliverables.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of HSE requirements.
- Large-scale commercial, data centre, mission critical or complex MEP experience would be highly advantageous.
