My client is looking for a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive new revenue, build strong client relationships, and champion the full breadth of the group’s services. This is a key growth role with real influence, autonomy, and the chance to shape how the agency scales.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Generation - Identify, target and convert new clients across sectors, with a focus on social media, digital marketing and creative production opportunities.
  • Pipeline Management - Build and maintain a healthy pipeline, ensuring consistent forecasting and revenue visibility.
  • Client Discovery - Lead discovery calls, understand client challenges, and shape tailored proposals
  • Proposal Development - Work with internal teams to create compelling, insight‑led proposals and pitch decks.
  • Cross‑Selling - Spot opportunities 
  • Relationship Building - Build long‑term partnerships, ensuring clients feel supported, understood and excited to work with the group.
  • Market Insight - Stay ahead of social, digital and creative trends to position the agency as a strategic partner.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with creative, strategy, production and digital teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in business development, agency sales, or marketing services
  • Strong understanding of social media, digital marketing and/or creative production
  • Confident presenting, pitching and leading commercial conversations
  • Ability to translate client needs into clear, strategic solutions
  • Excellent communication, relationship‑building and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and commercially driven
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, creative environment
