Salary: (negotiable depending on experience)
£50,000 - £80,000 + commission
We’re working with an innovative digital consultancy delivering technology, data and software solutions across the energy sector. They’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow their presence across the UK and wider energy market.
This role would suit someone with strong energy sector knowledge, commercial drive and a consultative approach to business development.
The Role:
You’ll lead new business activity, develop strategic client relationships and identify opportunities for long-term growth. Working alongside technical teams, you’ll help shape solutions that address real industry challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the energy market.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Generate and convert qualified opportunities.
- Manage and expand existing client accounts.
- Track market trends and regulatory developments.
- Support tenders, proposals and commercial bids.
- Maintain CRM and pipeline visibility.
- Represent the business at industry events and networking opportunities.
About You:
- Strong understanding of the UK energy market and sector dynamics.
- Experience in business development within SaaS.
- Confident engaging with both commercial and technical audiences.
- Proven track record developing opportunities and growing accounts.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CRM and pipeline management experience.
