Hunters' client, a well-established and innovative manufacturer, is looking for a Cable Assembly Technician to join their growing production team in Worthing.
Cable Assembly Technician - The Role
Working as part of a skilled manufacturing team, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality cable assemblies and electrical products to exact customer specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and assembling specialist cable assemblies and wiring looms
- Soldering, crimping, stripping, and terminating cables to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and assembly instructions
- Carrying out quality inspections throughout the build process to ensure every product meets exact specifications
- Maintaining a clean, organised workspace while supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous cable assembly and soldering experience is essential
- Confident using hand tools and working on precision assemblies
- Able to read technical drawings and follow detailed build instructions
- Exceptional attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
- Positive, reliable, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
- Early finish every Friday (1pm)
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
