Location: Buckinghamshire 
Covering: Low Voltage (LV) & High Voltage (HV) Network Connections
Salary: Up to £62,000 starting salary + Van, Fuel Card & Company Package

This Cable Jointer opportunity is to join an exceptionally stable and fast growing NERS accredited Independent Connections Provider (ICP) with an outstanding reputation across the power and utility infrastructure sector!

Operating as a tight knit business of around 30 employees, they pride themselves on maintaining a genuinely supportive and enjoyable work environment. Unlike massive corporate contractors where you are just a number or sent from site to site without backing, here you will work alongside an approachable leadership team in a business where your hard work is genuinely recognized and rewarded!

With a rock solid, healthy project pipeline stretching straight through to 2027 and into ED3, they are now looking for an experienced Cable Jointer to join their field delivery team working on private network maintenance and contestable connection projects across the region.

The Cable Jointer, Day-to-Day:
  • Carrying out jointing, terminating, and connections on Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (11kV / 33kV) power cables.
  • Working across a variety of projects including private network maintenance, contestable utility connections, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Undertaking sheath testing, mains/services jointing, and cable preparation to DNO/IDNO specifications.
  • Collaborating closely on-site with internal civil and engineering delivery teams to ensure safe and efficient handovers.
  • Adhering strictly to health, safety, and quality standards across all active site locations.
What You'll Need:
  • Proven hands-on experience as a Cable Jointer working on LV and HV networks (11kV / 33kV).
  • Essential background working on DNO/IDNO networks or for Tier 1 utility contractors.
  • DNO/IDNO jointing trade tickets or formal qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.
  • Must live within a comfortable, daily commutable distance to Buckinghamshire.
