We are currently seeking an experienced Car Sales Executive on behalf of a prestigious main dealer in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to join a well-established dealership recognised for delivering outstanding customer service and quality vehicles. The Car Sales Executive role offers competitive earnings, a professional environment, and career progression within a reputable vehicle group.

Benefits for the successful Car Sales Executive:
  • Basic salary of £24,000 with potential to earn £57,000+ OTE
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm; Saturday, 9.00am to 5.00pm; one Sunday in three, 11.00am to 4.00pm

Duties of the Car Sales Executive:
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to customers, demonstrating detailed knowledge of vehicles and products
  • Follow the sales process from prospecting to closing, maximising sales opportunities and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct vehicle demonstrations, including test drives, ensuring legal compliance and customer safety
  • Accurately maintain customer records and enquiries within the dealership's CRM system
  • Conduct thorough vehicle appraisals for part exchanges
  • Follow FCA compliance guidelines and internal procedures
  • Work proactively to generate new leads from inbound enquiries and customer follow-up activities
  • Support the delivery of the dealership's business strategies and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all clients receive professional and credible advice
Requirements of the Car Sales Executive:
  • Previous experience as a Car Sales Executive within a main dealership environment is essential; a proven sales track record is required
  • Alternatively, employees with a strong sales background from related sectors such as estate agency will be considered
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of FCA compliance and vehicle appraisal processes
  • Professional attitude with a goal-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take ownership of personal development
