Are you ready to step into an impactful role within public service? Our client Lincolnshire Police are seeking a dedicated and skilled Case Officer to join their Serious & Organised Crime Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that plays a critical role in upholding justice and supporting victims.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Case Officer, you will be at the forefront of investigations, providing essential support to investigating officers. Your duties will include:
- Gathering and managing evidence, particularly digital, audio, and visual materials.
- Preparing and developing case files for PIP1 and PIP2 investigations.
- Ensuring compliance with the Victims' Code of Practise, offering timely updates and support to victims.
- Submitting initial court files to the Crown Prosecution Service and ensuring adherence to evidential standards.
- Collaborating with investigating officers to obtain necessary evidence as per post-charge action plans.
- Liaising with various agencies to gather evidence and share information efficiently.
- Maintaining continuity of evidence in accordance with the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984.

Essential Qualifications:
- A full UK driving licence is required.
Experience:
- - PIP 1 or PIP 2 trained
- - Previous experience in a high-quality administration service is essential.
- - Familiarity with confidential and sensitive material is highly desirable.
- - Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel) is a must.
Skills:
- - Strong problem-solving abilities and lateral thinking.
- - Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- - A commitment to uphold the values and behaviours of the organisation.
Knowledge:
- - An understanding of data protection issues and the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996 is advantageous.
