Cleaning Operative

Pay: £13.46 Per Hour

Working Hours - 8 Hours Per Week (Saturday or Sunday - can be flexible which day)

THN are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to work in Part-Time in one of our services in Aylesbury.

We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose-led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

The successful Cleaning Operative will be responsible for:

• Carry out scheduled work on void rooms to bring back up to a high standard and in accordance with the Council’s targets prescribed in the contract
• Cleaning of rooms/communal areas as directed, ensuring that all rooms/communal areas are maintained to a high quality standard
• Cleaning void rooms to prepare them for new residents.
• Remove rubbish and dispose of correctly.
• Check kitchen and laundry room appliances are clean and free from hazards and common part areas are free from hazards and are clean as directed regularly

The Cleaning Operative will have:

• Cleaning experience
• Excellent communication skills
• IT skills and ability to confidently use applications to report works
• Extremely well organised
• Have a high standard of cleaning
