An established engineering business in Huddersfield is looking for an experienced CNC Miller, CNC Turner, or multi-skilled CNC professional to join its team on a permanent basis.

The company manufactures precision-machined components in both large and small quantities, with a focus on quality and quick turnaround.

The experienced engineering team also works with CAD/CAM software for offline programming, producing components from detailed drawings and specifications, reverse engineering existing parts and undertaking repair and restoration work to extend their service life.

The Role

The successful CNC professional will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.

The role will involve working with Haas machinery, with experience of Fanuc and Siemens controls highly desirable.

The company is looking for someone with solid practical CNC experience who can work confidently and independently, with a strong understanding of machining processes and CNC programming.

What They're Looking For

Proven experience as a CNC Miller and/or CNC Turner

Strong programming, setting and operating experience

Experience with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls

Experience working with Haas machinery

Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Good understanding of X, Y and Z axes

Ability to programme and make adjustments where required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled engineering team

The Package

£18.00 per hour

Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am–1:15pm
