CNC Turner — Programmer/Setter/Operator (Heidenhain) | Willenhall | Permanent | Days

An AS9100-accredited precision engineering business in Willenhall, West Midlands is looking for two skilled CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operators to join its machining team, following continued growth. The company manufactures high-specification components for the aerospace, defence, automotive and energy sectors — precision work to demanding quality standards.

The role:

• Programming, setting and operating CNC turning centres — Heidenhain controls - Open to others i.e. Fanuc
• Proving out and editing programmes from engineering drawings
• Working to tight tolerances, right first time
• First-off and in-process inspection using standard measuring equipment

We're looking for someone with:

• Proven CNC turning experience — programming, setting and operating
• Heidenhain an advantage; strong turners who programme on other controls and would cross-train will be considered
• Ability to read engineering drawings and hold tight tolerances
• A background in precision or subcontract manufacturing

In return:

• Permanent, day shift — Mon–Thu 8am–5pm, Fri 8am–1pm (39 hours)
• Circa £19-£21 per hour depending on experience
• Established, AS9100-accredited business with high-quality aerospace and defence work
