The Successful CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter – Package

  • £18.00 – £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
  • 4-day working week
  • Monday – Thursday: 6:45am – 5:00pm
  • 8% employer pension contribution (no employee contribution required)
  • Annual bonus of £4,000+

The Successful CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter – Requirements

  • Experienced CNC Turner with strong Programming and Setting experience
  • Confident programming and setting CNC Fixed Head Turning Centres
  • Experienced using Fanuc controls
  • Able to create, edit and optimise CNC programs
  • Experience machining a wide range of materials including soft metals, hardened materials, exotic alloys and engineering plastics
  • Background producing one-off and small batch precision components
  • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good understanding of GD&T and working to tight tolerances
  • Confident carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspection using standard inspection equipment
  • Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and housekeeping
