Construction Site Manager (QA Lead)
The Site Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the site works are performed correctly and according to the quality, in accordance with company quality standards and following the client's quality contract requirements on the project, and the companyes engineering and project requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitoring and checking daily site progress on the project & taking daily progress photos.
- Responsible for client ITPs, ITRs & NCR resolution.
- Responsible for contractor ITPs, ITRs & NCR resolution.
- Responsible for communicating witness points to the client for on-site quality assurance checks.
- Ensuring the sub-contractors work safely & abide by the SZC CBLs.
- Ensuring the sub-contractor installations are as per design.
- Working with the design coordinator to ensure that any quality issues are captured on site & closed out in a timely promptly.
- Responsible for reviewing & approving sub-contractor RAMS alongside the construction manager.
Desirable Experience
- Minimum HNC or HND in Quality, Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred.
- A degree in Quality, Engineering, or relevant discipline is often preferred
- Proven experience in quality management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
- Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and their implementation.
- Familiarity with UK CDM regulations
- Membership or aspiration to gain Chartered status with the Chartered Quality Institute can be beneficial
- SZC Screening Approval
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
