As a Crane Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead crane systems.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, along with a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Installation and Commissioning:

  • Lead or assist in the installation and commissioning of overhead crane systems at customer sites.

  • Ensure proper setup, alignment, and testing of crane components.

Routine Maintenance:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure the ongoing reliability and efficiency of overhead crane systems.

  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Emergency Repairs:

  • Respond promptly to service calls for emergency repairs and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

  • Coordinate with clients to minimize downtime and disruption to operations.

Upgrades and Modifications:

  • Evaluate existing crane systems and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance performance and safety.

  • Implement modifications and upgrades as per customer requirements and industry standards.

Customer Support:

  • Provide technical support to customers regarding crane operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and service.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades.

  • Prepare detailed service reports for clients and internal documentation.

Adherence to Safety Standards:

  • Ensure all service activities comply with health and safety regulations.

  • Conduct safety assessments and provide guidance to clients on safe crane operation practices.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead crane systems.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and customer service abilities.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
