Customer Account Co-Ordinator

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for two exciting opportunities to join their Customer Account Team. These roles offer the chance to become part of a highly respected manufacturing business, taking ownership of the sales administration and account management for a portfolio of key UK customer accounts.

Working closely with a range of internal departments, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring orders are managed efficiently from receipt through to delivery, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of key UK customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise with the Materials Control team to ensure stock availability for production.
  • Work closely with Production to ensure orders are completed on time and to customer requirements.
  • Coordinate deliveries with the Transport and Distribution team.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the order process, providing regular updates and resolving any queries.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and occasional customer visits.
  • Produce and analyse reports using Microsoft Excel, identifying sales trends, customer spend and performance data.

The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will have previous customer service or account management experience, ideally gained within a manufacturing environment. However, candidates from other fast-paced commercial or service sector backgrounds will also be considered.

You will also have:
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience of SAP would be advantageous but is not essential.
A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
