We are recruiting a confident and customer-focused Customer Sales Advisor to join a growing and ambitious business.

This is a varied role combining consultative sales, excellent customer service, administration and responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented site. You will support customers in person, over the phone and by email, taking the time to understand their requirements and recommend the most appropriate solution.

This is not a high-pressure or aggressive sales environment. Success comes from building rapport, asking the right questions and delivering a positive customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Responding to customer enquiries in person, over the phone and by email.
  • Understanding customers' requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Converting enquiries into sales through a friendly, consultative approach.
  • Promoting relevant additional products and services.
  • Building positive relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Processing payments, maintaining accurate account records and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Completing general administration, including emails, filing, stocktaking, audits and data entry.
  • Supporting local marketing initiatives and community outreach.
  • Conducting regular checks to ensure the site remains clean, secure and fully operational.
  • Maintaining high presentation standards throughout the site and public areas.
  • Following health and safety, fire and security procedures.
  • Acting responsibly as a key holder and helping maintain site security.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience within sales, retail, hospitality or customer service.
  • A friendly, confident and professional approach.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to put customers at ease.
  • A natural ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using IT systems and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A reliable and punctual approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience within a similar environment would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

What's on offer

  • Starting salary of £27,700 per annum.
  • Performance-related bonus scheme.
  • Inflationary salary adjustment following successful completion of probation.
  • Annual salary reviews.
  • Contributory pension scheme.
  • 30 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
  • Holiday entitlement increasing to a maximum of 33 days through length of service and progression.
  • Additional benefits following a qualifying period.
  • Full training and ongoing support.
  • Employee discounts.

If you enjoy helping customers, are commercially aware and want to join a growing business where you can make a genuine contribution, we would be pleased to hear from you.
