Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting on behalf of a growing claims management business seeking a Total Loss Claims Handler to support customers through the claims process following a vehicle write-off. The Role
You'll manage total loss claims from start to finish, working closely with customers, insurers, and suppliers to deliver fair, efficient, and compassionate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage total loss claims and support customers throughout the claims journey.
• Assess vehicle write-off decisions using repair methodology (full training provided).
• Negotiate fair vehicle valuations and manage customer expectations.
• Agree storage and recovery costs with suppliers and third-party insurers.
• Liaise with insurers and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently.
• Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Deliver excellent customer service while achieving the best commercial outcomes.

You'll have:

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and decision-making abilities.
• Good organisational, planning, and analytical skills.
• The ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable:

• Experience within the motor repair or motor claims industry.
• Knowledge of vehicle damage assessment.
