Duties in this Deputy Manager role include:
- Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
- Ensuring care is always delivered in line with the standards set out by the CQC, Local Authority and other relevant regulatory professional bodies.
- Being a great mentor who can provide support, guidance and leadership to the care home staff.
- Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
- Build strong relationships with visiting healthcare professionals, families, and social workers.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within an elderly residential setting.
- Good knowledge / use of care systems and governance.
- A genuine commitment to providing the highest standards of resident care.
