We are searching for a Deputy Manager to join an award-winning care home provider based in Chorley. This Deputy Manager opportunity comes with a competitive salary of up to £45,000 per year, excellent training and development pathways, and more excellent benefits.

This Deputy Manager role is within one of the best-regarded care homes in the area. This service is a new, purpose-built home which is known for offering the highest standards of residential, dementia and respite care. You will be joining a highly trained and compassionate team that has both your personal and professional development at heart.

Duties in this Deputy Manager role include:
  • Supporting the Manager in implementing all policies, procedures, and objectives
  • Ensuring care is always delivered in line with the standards set out by the CQC, Local Authority and other relevant regulatory professional bodies.
  • Being a great mentor who can provide support, guidance and leadership to the care home staff.
  • Ensure adequate staffing is always maintained within the home.
  • Build strong relationships with visiting healthcare professionals, families, and social workers.
Criteria to apply:
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within an elderly residential setting.
  • Good knowledge / use of care systems and governance.
  • A genuine commitment to providing the highest standards of resident care.
