This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Main Car Dealership that is looking for an exceptional Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to strengthen its workshop team. Working Monday to Friday with no weekend commitments, you'll be trusted to diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults while supporting the wider workshop with your technical expertise.

The Role
As a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical faults while supporting workshop efficiency and maintaining the highest manufacturer standards.


Your responsibilities will include:
·Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
·Using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment and software
·Carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer repair methods
·Completing servicing, maintenance, and advanced diagnostic repairs
·Supporting fellow technicians with technical advice and fault diagnosis
·Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
·Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
·Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records
·Adhering to all health and safety and manufacturer guidelines
 
About You
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
·NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
·Extensive experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Diagnostic Vehicle Technician, Master Technician, or Senior Vehicle Technician
·Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
·Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment
·Strong understanding of CAN Bus systems, engine management, and vehicle electronics
·The ability to work independently while supporting the wider workshop team
·Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering first-time fixes
·Full UK Driving Licence
·MOT Licence desirable but not essential
