Electrical Assembly Technician / Panel Wirer

Location: Beccles, Suffolk
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

TEC Partners are recruiting for an Electrical Assembly Technician / Panel Wirer to join a specialist engineering manufacturer in Beccles.

This is primarily a hands-on assembly and wiring role, building bespoke automated machinery and electrical systems from engineering drawings and schematics.

What you'll be doing

• Wiring and assembling electrical components and control systems

• Building and wiring control panels

• Cable preparation, crimping and termination

• Installing cable routes, trunking, brackets and support systems

• Working from electrical drawings and schematics

• Installing pneumatic components and pipework

• Carrying out basic electrical checks and testing once assemblies are complete

• Supporting the build of bespoke machinery from initial assembly through to completion

What we're looking for

You don't need to have previously held the title Electrical Assembly Technician.

We're interested in people with hands-on experience in areas such as:

• Panel wiring / panel building

• Electrical assembly

• Machine wiring

• Electrical fitting

• Control cabinet wiring

• Cable assembly and termination

• Industrial electrical installation

You'll need to be confident using hand tools and working from electrical drawings or schematics.

Experience with automation machinery, special-purpose machinery or pneumatic systems would be useful, but isn't essential.
