We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering a major Data Centre project in Zaragoza, Spain.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the electrical package on a large-scale, technically complex project, working from design and construction through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical package and all electrical construction activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate electrical design, BIM, drawings, RFIs and technical queries.
• Ensure works meet programme, quality and H&S requirements.
• Manage procurement, materials, resources and package costs.
• Oversee QA/QC, inspections, ITPs, testing and snagging.
• Drive commissioning and electrical system handover.
• Manage progress reporting, risks, variations and commercial performance.
• Liaise with the client, design team and wider project management team.
• Support and develop the electrical engineering team.

Requirements

• 10–15+ years' construction experience.
• Minimum 5 years' Project Management experience.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or relevant discipline.
• Proven experience managing large-scale electrical installation projects.
• Strong electrical technical knowledge, with good understanding of MEP systems.
• Data Centre / Mission Critical experience highly desirable.
• Design & Build experience.
• Strong subcontractor, client and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of H&S, QA/QC and commissioning.
• Excellent communication, organisation and IT skills.
