Electrical Supervisor – BESS Project

Location: Fife, FK10
Start Date: September 2026 – ongoing contract
Working Hours: 10 hours paid per day
Payment: CIS Available
 

I’m currently recruiting for 2 experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our client’s Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Fife.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Electrical Supervisors with a background in BESS, substations, HV/LV, renewable energy or major power infrastructure projects.

The Role

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising electrical installation activities on site, coordinating electrical subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation activities and site teams.
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors and site personnel.
• Ensure electrical works are completed safely, on programme and to specification.
• Work from electrical drawings, specifications and project documentation.
• Ensure RAMS, permits and site safety procedures are followed.
• Carry out regular site inspections and monitor quality of workmanship.
• Coordinate with other trades and site management.
• Support testing, commissioning and project handover.
• Report progress and any issues to the Site Management team.

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience working as an Electrical Supervisor.
• Experience within BESS, HV, substations, renewable energy or major power projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation and construction.
• Good understanding of RAMS, permits and electrical site safety.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience supervising electrical subcontractors and site teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Qualifications

• 18th Edition
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
• SSSTS / SMSTS
• SHEA Power / EUSR
• BESC
• ECS/JIB or equivalent certification
