Electrical Supervisor in Manchester, Greater Manchester

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major mixed-use development scheme, overseeing electrical works across a large and varied construction project.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor looking to take responsibility for site delivery, quality, safety, and coordination on a high-profile development.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installations across the development.
• Manage electrical subcontractors and site-based electrical teams.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager/Site Manager.
• Coordinate electrical works with other trades and site management.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure installations meet required standards.
• Ensure all works are completed safely and in accordance with RAMS and site procedures.
• Assist with planning, sequencing, and coordination of electrical activities.
• Identify and resolve technical and site-based issues.
• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other members of the project team.
• Maintain accurate site records and ensure relevant documentation is completed.
• Support commissioning, testing, snagging, and handover activities.

Electrical Supervisor Requirements

• Gold ECS 
• SSSTS
• 18th edition 
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on commercial, residential, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of health & safety requirements and construction procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Relevant electrical qualifications.
