The Opportunity

Are you an engineer with an interest in diesel engines, emissions technology and regulatory compliance?

This is an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, environmental regulations and product development, helping ensure products meet international emissions standards. You'll collaborate with engineering and regulatory specialists, gaining exposure to global certification processes and the latest industry requirements.

Previous emissions certification experience is beneficial, but a strong engineering background, analytical mindset and willingness to learn are equally important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support emissions certification activities across a range of international markets.
  • Prepare and submit amendments to existing emissions certifications, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Compile certification applications for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB).
  • Support Model Year rollover certifications and applications for new products.
  • Work with engineering and regulatory teams to gather and assess technical information.
  • Develop clear procedures, guidance and instructions to support consistent certification processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes through digital tools, data analysis and automation.

What We're Looking For

  • An engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification, supported by relevant experience.
  • An understanding of diesel engines and emissions control systems.
  • Previous emissions certification or regulatory compliance experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • A logical, methodical approach to problem-solving and handling technical information.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and learn new processes quickly.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working with different teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, with an interest in AI tools, Power BI and Power Automate.

Why Apply?

  • Gain experience in a specialist area of engineering and regulatory compliance.
  • Work alongside experienced engineering and regulatory professionals.
  • Develop your knowledge of international emissions legislation and certification.
  • Build digital and analytical skills using modern tools and technologies.

Interested? If you have an engineering background and want to develop your career in emissions certification, we'd love to hear from you.
