Employment Advisor

Location: Aylesford with national travel
Salary: £31,500 per annum 
Contract: Full-time

Our client is seeking a passionate and motivated Lifeworks Tutor & Employment Advisor to deliver an award-winning employability and resettlement programme supporting veterans, service leavers, spouses and partners across the UK.

This is a highly rewarding role for an experienced trainer, coach or employability professional who enjoys helping people overcome barriers and achieve sustainable employment, education or training outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver employability training, workshops and assessments both online and face-to-face
• Provide tailored coaching and employment support to programme participants
• Support beneficiaries with CV development, applications and interview preparation
• Deliver follow-up support through a structured forward assist programme
• Maintain accurate records and management information
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and specialist services
• Promote equality, diversity and inclusion in all aspects of delivery
• Undertake administrative duties linked to participant support
• Participate in training, development and performance reviews

About You

Essential

• Full UK driving licence
• The candidates must have served within the Military 
• Ideally experience delivering training and coaching programmes or simular transferable experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible approach with willingness to travel and stay away when required

Desirable

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) or equivalent
• IAG Level 3 qualification
• Experience creating and developing training materials

Additional Information

• UK travel required, including regular overnight stays
• Standard DBS check required before commencement
