Teach Now is recruiting an engaging English Teacher for a secondary school in Barnet.
You will teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, inspiring pupils to read critically, communicate clearly and approach examinations with confidence.
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons.
- Teach literature, language, writing and analytical skills.
- Prepare KS4 pupils for GCSE English Language and Literature.
- Track progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Support pupils with differing literacy levels and learning needs.
- Create a classroom culture where discussion and ideas are encouraged.
- UK QTS or recognised equivalent.
- Strong English subject knowledge.
- Secondary English teaching experience or strong ECT placements.
- Good understanding of the GCSE curriculum.
- Effective classroom and behaviour management.
