Are you seeking a flexible role within education where you can support students during one of the most important periods of their academic journey? Clarence Recruitment is currently recruiting dependable, professional, and detail-focused Exam Invigilators to work across secondary schools in Rugby.
This position is ideal for individuals who are organised, observant, and able to remain calm under pressure. As an Exam Invigilator, you will help ensure examinations are conducted in a secure, fair, and professional manner while maintaining the highest standards of examination integrity.
No previous invigilation experience is required, as full training and guidance will be provided.
Main Duties
- Assist with the preparation and organisation of examination venues prior to the arrival of candidates.
- Distribute examination papers, stationery, and relevant materials accurately.
- Welcome candidates and carry out attendance checks in line with examination procedures.
- Ensure all examination instructions are communicated clearly and consistently.
- Supervise students throughout examinations, maintaining a quiet and orderly environment.
- Monitor compliance with examination regulations and report concerns where necessary.
- Deal professionally and discreetly with any incidents or candidate queries.
- Ensure examination materials are collected, counted, and returned securely following each session.
- Support the implementation of access arrangements under the direction of the Exams Officer.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold the integrity of the examination process at all times.
