The Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in commercial building maintenance. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties located throughout Central London.

This is a mobile role, requiring travel between sites within Central London, supporting clients in maintaining safe, compliant and high-quality environments.

Key Responsibilities

• General Building Maintenance – Ensuring Central London commercial properties remain in excellent condition
• Plumbing & Carpentry – Handling repairs, installations and modifications across multiple client sites
• Grounds Work & Minor Repairs – Maintaining both interior and exterior building fabric
• Health & Safety Compliance – Ensuring all work meets industry safety standards and client requirements
• Emergency Repairs & Reactive Maintenance – Providing timely solutions to urgent issues across Central London locations

What We Need from You

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the facilities maintenance industry
• Exceptional Workmanship – Ability to maintain high-quality standards across a variety of commercial environments
• Strong Health & Safety Knowledge – Committed to compliance and best practices
• Full UK Driving Licence – Held for at least 5 years
• Good Communication Skills – Ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues across multiple Central London sites
• Comfortable travelling daily between client locations throughout Central London

Desirable (But Not Essential)

• Previous experience as a Mobile Fabric Engineer, Multi-Trade Operative, Maintenance Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Service Technician
• Experience working within commercial properties in Central London
• Certifications in relevant trades or facilities management training

Your Working Hours

• Standard hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Occasional early starts, late finishes and weekend work may be required to support client requirements across Central London
