We’re looking for an experienced Fabric Technician to join an established maintenance team working across a large and varied property estate.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of residential and commercial properties, including communal areas, plantrooms and other facilities. Due to the size of the estate, you’ll travel between multiple buildings throughout the working day.
A company van and fuel card are provided for travel between sites.
Job duties
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- General building fabric repairs and maintenance
- Carpentry and joinery repairs
- Door, frame and ironmongery repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Minor plastering, patching and making good
- Painting and decorating
- Tiling and flooring repairs
- Repair and replacement of fixtures and fittings
- Maintenance and repairs within residential properties
- Working in communal areas and plantrooms
- Removal and replacement of domestic white goods
- Supporting minor refurbishment and project works
- Identifying defects and carrying out remedial repairs
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- £36,000 salary
- Company van
- Fuel card
- Monday to Friday working hours
- 40-hour working week
- Overtime paid for call-outs
- On-call only approximately 1 week every 13–14 weeks
