Fabricator Welder

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for Picker/ Packers for one of our clients based in Leeds, Ilkely, LS29.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and prepare metal materials.
• Perform MIG, TIG, ARC, or stick welding as required.
• Assemble and fabricate metal structures and components.
• Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and cutting machines.
• Inspect completed welds and fabricated products for quality and accuracy.
• Repair or modify damaged metal components when necessary.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow workplace health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
• Keep the work area clean and organized

Skills:

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or ARC welding.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good measuring and mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques and metalworking tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Monday - Friday
Shifts available: 7am - 4.30pm (12.45pm finish on Fridays)

Pay rate : £15.00 / H
