Family Solicitor - NQ to 5 Years' PQE

Our client is a highly regarded regional law firm with a strong presence across Hull and York, and its busy Family team is continuing to grow.

They are now looking for a Family Lawyer from Newly Qualified up to 5 years' PQE to join the team, with a particular focus on matrimonial finance and private children matters.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor who wants to develop their career within an experienced and supportive team, while gaining exposure to a varied caseload and working closely with clients through what can often be some of the most challenging periods of their lives.

What will you be doing?

You'll work across a broad range of Family Law matters, including:

• Matrimonial finance and financial issues arising from relationship breakdown
• Private children law matters
• Cohabitation agreements
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Advising clients following separation and relationship breakdown
• Building trusted, long-term relationships with clients
• Working collaboratively with the wider Family team to achieve the best possible outcomes

You'll be expected to provide clear, practical and considered advice, taking the time to understand each client's individual circumstances, priorities and objectives.

This role has arisen due to team expansion and continued high levels of work, making it an exciting time to join an established and highly regarded Family department.

About you

You'll be a qualified Family Solicitor from NQ to around 5 years' PQE, with a genuine interest in developing your career within Family Law.

Ideally, you'll have experience or a particular interest in matrimonial finance and private children work, although the firm is interested in hearing from candidates with a broader Family Law background.
