Our client is a well-established specialist passive fire protection contractor that has secured a significant pipeline of fire damper inspection and remedial works across multiple Category A prisons throughout the Midlands and North.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Fire Damper Engineer to join their expanding team on a permanent basis.
The Role
- Carry out fire damper inspections and testing in accordance with current industry standards.
- Complete remedial works, including repairs and replacements where required.
- Produce accurate inspection reports and photographic records.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to the highest quality standards.
- Travel between prison sites across the Midlands and North.
Requirements
- CPC Clearance is essential (applications without current CPC Clearance cannot be considered).
- Previous experience testing and remediating fire dampers.
- Good understanding of passive fire protection and fire damper compliance.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete accurate documentation.
Package
- £33,000 basic salary.
- Door-to-door travel paid (equating to approximately £36,000+ earnings).
