Fire Risk Assessor in Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Fire Risk Assessor looking for a varied field-based role, with the benefit of no overnight stays and a strong salary package of up to £55,000.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive fire risk assessments across a range of commercial and residential premises, ensuring clients remain compliant with current fire safety legislation and best practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out detailed Fire Risk Assessments across a variety of properties
• Identifying fire hazards and assessing associated risks
• Producing clear, accurate and professional reports
• Providing practical recommendations to clients
• Advising on fire safety compliance and risk reduction
• Managing your own workload and diary
• Maintaining accurate assessment records
• Building strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

We're looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor with:

• Proven experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments
• Strong knowledge of current UK fire safety legislation and guidance
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• A professional and client-focused approach
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A full UK driving licence
• Relevant fire safety qualifications/accreditations

Experience with PAS 9980, BS 9999, BS 9991 and/or other relevant fire safety standards would be advantageous.
