Fire Risk Assessor in Glasgow, City of Glasgow

We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established fire safety and compliance organisation for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join their growing team in Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified fire professional with strong commercial experience to take on a varied portfolio of commercial fire risk assessments across a range of properties and sectors.

As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for carrying out comprehensive fire risk assessments across commercial premises, identifying hazards and risks, and providing clear, practical recommendations to help clients maintain compliance and improve fire safety standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out commercial fire risk assessments across a variety of premises
• Identifying fire hazards, risks and areas of non-compliance
• Producing clear, accurate and detailed fire risk assessment reports
• Providing clients with practical recommendations and guidance
• Reviewing existing fire safety arrangements and control measures
• Liaising professionally with clients, building managers and other stakeholders
• Managing your own diary and assessment workload
• Maintaining accurate records and completing reports within agreed timescales
• Keeping up to date with relevant fire safety legislation, guidance and industry best practice

We are looking for an experienced Fire Risk Assessor who is confident working independently and has a strong understanding of commercial fire safety.

Essential requirements:

• Level 3 Fire Risk Assessment qualification or equivalent recognised qualification
• Previous experience undertaking commercial fire risk assessments
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and relevant guidance
• Excellent report-writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Scotland

• Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience and qualifications
