Fire Stopper

Orbit Workforce Solutions are recruiting for experienced Fire Stoppers for long-term work in Southamppton.

Key Responsibilities

• Firestopping works on a care home construction project.
• Installing fire batts and applying fire-rated mastic.
• Sealing service penetrations to maintain fire compartmentation.
• Sealing around pipes, cables and other building services.
• Working to drawings and site specifications.
• Carrying out work safely and to a high standard.

Requirements

• Blue CSCS card.
• NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection.
• Comfortable carrying out all aspects of firestopping.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in firestopping.
• DBS check desirable but not essential.

7:30am - 4:00pm. Parking available on site.
