Flexible Operator

CareerMakers Recruitment are currently looking for a Machine Operator for our client based in the heart of Wigan. 

Duties:

• Work as part of crewing on production lines. 
• Defined machine operation, packing, palletising, lid loading, material replenishment of running materials (reel operation).   
• Ensure required materials are ordered inline with production requirements.
• Carrying out process confirmation checks in line with quality, safety and product specifications.
• Clean and Inspect all work area and machinery, within acceptable safe working standards and good manufacturing practices , ensuring lines are set to centreline standards. 
• Taking corrective action or reporting any maintenance issues as appropriate.
• Read and interpret specifications to meet the production plans ensuring appropriate prioritisation.
• Completion of line records to include material traceability, yield & usage.
• Perform necessary adjustments and activities for a changeover.

Shift Pattern:

• 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
• 7-7
