FM Contracts Manager

Exeter | Competitive Salary | Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm | Full-time | Permanent | Planned & Reactive Hard FM

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Contracts Manager to oversee operational focus across Exeter. You will manage in-house engineers and specialist contractors delivering planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems.

This opportunity would suit someone with a strong background in Hard FM, with strong commercial and operational oversight, focused on delivering high service standards and excellent customer service.

• Act as primary client representative.

• Oversee planned preventative maintenance.

• Ensure building services are appropriately managed.

• Ensure all Hard FM activities comply with UK legislation.

• Provide commercial oversight and identify opportunities for cost-saving measures.

• Develop effective working relationships with contractors.

• Keep up to date with RAMS, permits and inspection reports.

• Manage contractor mobilisation, resources and service delivery.

• Strong background in Hard FM or building services.

• Proven M&E background and understanding.

• Background in PPM and reactive maintenance.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good communication and organisational skills.

• Motivated and career-focused attitude.
