Food Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Food Production Operative to join a busy food production team based in Medway Towns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a chilled food production environment. Following a successful 12-week period, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position.



Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing, slicing and packing meat products
  • Working within a chilled production environment
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
  • Carrying out lifting and manual handling duties where required
  • Following all company health and safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Working Monday-Thursday 07.30-15.30 and Friday 07.00-15.00- no weekends.

Full PPE is provided, including safety boots.



Requirements

  • Comfortable handling meat products
  • Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and lifting
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Good work ethic and a positive attitude
  • Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
