General Operative - Completion Shift (Temp to Perm) in Hull

We are currently recruiting for a General Operative to join a busy and fast-paced fulfilment team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for long-term employment, with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract after a successful 12-week temporary period.

Staffline is recruiting General Operatives in West Yorkshire.

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:
- 11:00am to 10:00pm

Your Time at Work

As a General Operative you will be working on the completion shift, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and ready for dispatch. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring a keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and completing online customer orders
- Packing bouquets carefully into presentation boxes
- Adding gift extras and personalised items to orders where required
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure orders are accurate and completed to a high standard
- Labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
- Stacking completed orders onto pallets ready for collection
- Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

What We're Looking For:

- Previous warehouse, production or packing experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work at pace whilst maintaining quality standards
- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling duties and being on your feet throughout the shift
