With an acquisitive growth strategy and a focus on operational excellence, we are looking for an experienced Group Management Accountant to join our central finance team and play a key role in supporting the financial management of the Group.  

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality financial reporting across the Group. This is a varied and hands-on role offering exposure to group reporting, consolidations, audit management, finance transformation projects and acquisition accounting within a complex multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the monthly close process across multiple group entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Lead month-end accounting activities for holding companies, including journals, reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.

Prepare monthly group management accounts, board packs and insightful financial analysis.

Deliver meaningful variance analysis, KPI reporting and performance commentary for senior stakeholders.

Act as a key contact during the annual audit process, liaising with auditors and finance teams across the Group.

Support acquisition accounting activities and assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses.

Contribute to finance transformation initiatives, including systems implementation and reporting enhancements. [

Partner with Finance Directors, Managing Partners and senior business leaders across the organisation.

About You

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

You will ideally have:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be nearing completion).

Proven experience in a Group Accountant, Management Accountant or Financial Accountant position

Strong month-end close and management reporting experience within a multi-entity environment.

Experience preparing consolidated management accounts and group reporting.

Excellent reconciliation and financial analysis skills.

Experience supporting external audits and financial control processes

Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business

Desirable Experience

Acquisition accounting and post-acquisition integration.

Finance transformation projects and systems implementations.

Exposure to FP&A systems or practice management platforms such as Aderant.

Professional services, legal or private equity-backed businesses.
