Up to £70,000 Pay - Live-in position with free private 3-bedroom accommodation
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager to join our senior leadership team, leading the residential care provision and making a positive difference to the lives of young people with Autism and other special educational needs, aged 5–18.
With an outstanding reputation for innovation and successful practice, we have are very proud to have achieved Ofsted Outstanding for Care for six consecutive years. We are looking for a passionate leader with relevant management experience and a minimum NVQ Level 5 qualification, who can inspire and develop staff while maintaining the highest standards of care.
The role involves leading and supporting the residential care team, overseeing staff training, supervision and development, and ensuring effective communication across care, education and domestic teams. You will be responsible for monitoring the quality of care, pupil progress and individual support programmes, as well as coordinating recreational activities, medical arrangements and the day-to-day running of the residential provision.
As part of the senior management team, you will contribute to the strategic operation of the school, promote a positive and nurturing environment, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
Essential Requirements
- Have proven management experience within residential childcare, education or a related setting, with an NVQ Level 5 or above.
- Be passionate about supporting young people with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
- Have strong leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Be proactive, approachable, resourceful and committed to delivering high standards of care.
