Health & Safety Officer

A competent Health and Safety Officer with NEBOSH Certification and IOSH Membership will join an established High-Tech Company at their offices in Buckinghamshire, taking responsibility for the development, maintenance and continual improvement of their H&S management System, whilst ensuring compliance with ISO 45001.

With strong IT skills, attention to detail and good people skills, the Health and Safety officer will undertake a range of tasks from ensuring ongoing compliance with UK H&S legislation, managing the Company Health and Safety Management System, taking responsibility for site fire safety, facilitating Risk Assessments, supporting occupational health programmes as well as creating documentation.

The H&S Officer should possess the following skills and experience:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
• IOSH Membership (minimum of TechIOSH or working towards).
• Experience of working within a manufacturing and warehousing environment.
• Proven experience of managing or supporting Health and Safety Management Systems.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of UK H&S legislation.
• Experience of maintaining ISO 45001 Management Systems.
• Strong IT skills.

Fully office based role. You must possess full eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.
