Working Hours

Rotating earlies/lates:

• Monday–Friday: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
• Alternative Saturday: 06:00–12:00

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing HGVs to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and correctly.

As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
• Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
• Completing safety inspections and MOT preparation
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the required standards
• Completing relevant paperwork and workshop records
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Working as part of a professional workshop team

About You

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician who can demonstrate:

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
• A proactive and professional approach
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A valid UK driving licence
• HGV licence desirable but not essential
