Protocol Education are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of primary schools in Newham.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced HLTA, or for a strong Teaching Assistant who is interested in progressing into an HLTA role and gaining valuable experience across different school settings.

The Role:

• Work across different primary schools in Newham
• Support teachers and pupils across a range of year groups
• Deliver lessons and activities when required
• Provide classroom, small-group and 1:1 support
• Help manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Work alongside teachers and school staff
• Adapt quickly to different school environments

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous HLTA experience is desirable
• Experienced Teaching Assistants interested in becoming an HLTA are also encouraged to apply
• Previous experience working in a primary school
• Confident supporting different year groups
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic
• Passionate about supporting children's learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
