What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Support pupils with Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, Complex Needs and Moderate Learning Difficulties.
• Lead whole-class learning and small group interventions.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teaching staff and school leaders.
• Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt learning to meet the individual needs of every pupil.

• An experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
• A Cover Supervisor looking to move into specialist education.
• A Teaching Assistant ready to progress your career.

• Experienced supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an HLTA or within a school setting.
• Confidence leading learning and managing classroom behaviour.
• A caring, patient and positive approach.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Flexibility to work across Gillingham and the surrounding Medway area.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in children's lives.
