Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Humanities Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September?
Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Yeovil to recruit a passionate Humanities Teacher to join their team from September 2026. The successful candidate will teach Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a specialism in History, Geography or Religious Education welcomed.
The Role- Deliver engaging Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop a curiosity and understanding of the world around them.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can succeed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school.
- Has a specialism in History, Geography or Religious Education.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management.
- Is committed to raising attainment and supporting every student to reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
