Interim Building Surveyor in Liverpool, Merseyside

Your new company
Your new company is a public services organisation based in Merseyside who require a Building Surveyor for 6 months.
Your new role

• Building Condition Surveys
• Identifying defects and assessing condition.
• Preparing stock condition and maintenance reports.
• Insurance Reinstatement Cost Assessments (RCAs in insurance valuation terminology may also mean Reinstatement Cost Assessments)
• Calculating rebuilding costs.
• Applying BCIS rebasing indices.
• Assessing demolition, professional fees, inflation, and abnormal costs.
• Root Cause Analysis of Building Defects
• Investigating issues such as damp, mould, structural movement, water ingress, condensation, roofing failures, and fire damage.
• Identifying underlying causes rather than symptoms.
• Producing expert reports and recommendations.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will need experience in a similar role and ideally affiliation to RICS, CIOB etc.
