Job Title: Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hackney (Fully accessible by Local Public Transport)
Year Group: KS3
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday term time only
Pay: £100 - £120 per day (PAYE)
Start Date: 14/09/2026

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an outstanding Primary School in Greenwich who are seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to cover within a Year 6 Class with an emphasis on SATs support.

These are great opportunities for experienced or aspiring Teaching Assistants who wish to to make a difference in the development and learning of pupils.

• Experience supporting children within Key Stage 3 and SEN

• TEAM TEACH or Positive Handling Training would come as an advantage

• Knowledge of positive and adaptive support.

• Good Understanding of SEN

• Patience and strong communication skills.

• Committed

• Desirable: Sound Knowledge of core subjects for 1:1 Learning when required

• Right to work in the UK.

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply).

• Two professional references from the last two years.

• Up to date CV with full employment history.

• Relevant work experience with SEN children.
