Learning Support Assistant in Ipswich, Suffolk

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Ipswich, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young learners and helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.

The school is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed practitioner with strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils who may require additional academic or emotional support.

📌 CONTRACT DETAILS

• Location - Ipswich
• Position - Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
• Type of work - Classroom support and targeted interventions
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
• Full time/part-time - Full time
• Rate of pay - £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
• Hours - 08:30am - 15:45pm

📚 EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting children in a UK primary school (placements accepted)
• Experience working with pupils requiring additional learning support desirable
• Relevant LSA, TA or childcare qualifications desirable
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

✔️ TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Provide two professional child-related references
